Düden waterfall
The river Düden in the Taurus Mountains turns into a waterfall twice. The upper Düden is located in a small nature park. A cave has formed behind the falling water, from which the cascades can be observed impressively. The lower Düden falls directly on the coast over a rock into the Mediterranean Sea.
Amphitheater
A visit to the ruins of the gigantic amphitheater is like stepping back in time to antiquity. The theater on the outskirts of the old town could seat up to 15,000 people, making it one of the largest of its kind in what was then the Pamphylia region. Today the theater is used for music festivals and other performances.
Aspendos Ruins
The theater of Aspendos is very impressive and well preserved. In autumn there are events with music and dancing. It’s worth taking a walk.
Red Tower
The Red Tower, with its octagonal structure and a height of 33 meters is an architectural masterpiece from the 13th century. The tower owes its name to the red brick from which it was built. Visit the museum to learn more about its history and that of the city.

Apollon Temple
The Temple of Apollo with its imposing Corinthian columns is one of the most important Roman marble ruins in Side. It is sometimes believed that the 2nd-century temple was a sign of Antony’s devotion to Cleopatra. There are more ruins around the temple and at sunset there is a particularly great view of the Mediterranean Sea.

Perge Ancient City
The historic site of Perge, northeast of Antalya, contains the imposing remains of what was once an extremely important ancient city. Archeology fans will get their money’s worth in the old city of ruins, for example at the sight of the large Argora, the Roman archway or the old amphitheater with the artistic marble reliefs.
